You might not have an at-home makeup artist like many celebrities, but that doesn’t mean you can’t steal some of their makeup secrets. For a special night out with your girlfriends, this winged eyeliner look is easy to recreate. Follow these tips to look bright-eyed and glamorous.
1. Line your rims with a pearly white.
White eyeliner along your inner rims plays up the whites of your eyes, making you look more awake and bright-eyed. Even if you didn’t sleep well the night before, no one has to know! A waterproof formula will stay in place all day, and a shimmery version draws attention to your eyes without being too glittery.

2. Get the perfect line every time.
Who knew tape could be so helpful when it comes to makeup? For the perfect cat-eye on both eyes, place a thing piece of tape on a diagonal along the outer corners of your eyes (so the tape will be somewhat vertical).Line your eyes and then follow the rim of the tape to create a solid cat eye beyond the corners. When you’re done, remove the tape and enjoy the symmetrical cat-eye liner on both eyes!

3. Layer mascara like a pro.
Lastly, mascara is a must to define your eyes. To amp up the drama, pick a curling formula to really open up your eyes. For added drama, wiggle mascara from root to tip for 2-3 coats. Then, apply mascara with the wand to just the tips for added definition (hold the wand vertical and brush it into the tips).
